Jetting Technician

Employer:

Tube Tech International Limited, Unit 14 Rawreth Industrial Estate, Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh, Essex. SS6 9RL.

Position:

Hi Tech Water Pressure jetting, specialist industrial cleaning on oil, gas and power sites both UK and worldwide. Full training will be given.

Applicant background:

Some mechanical type trade preferred, e.g. mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, pipe fitting etc.
No experience necessary. Full training given.

Hours:

40+ hours per week, Monday to Friday on 24 hour rota.
Weekends occasionally on rota. Away from home essential.

Starting salary:

• To be arranged at interview.

The successful applicant will be subject to a regular, mandatory drug tests, and will need the following:

TECHNICIAN JOB SPECIFICATION

On Site:-

• Working as member of contracting team eg., jetting, drilling etc
• Pre-contract site visits, where applicable
• Maintenance and security of equipment (TTIL & hired in) whilst on contract
• Providing written reports of site visits, where applicable
• Providing written reports of contract (whilst supervising)
• Supervising of site contracts (as directed from Management)
• Completion of site paperwork eg., permits
• Completion and sign off of TTIL site paperwork eg., timesheets, contract report forms etc., (whilst supervising)
• Conduct yourself, recognising all existing Health and Safety requirements
• Health and Safety of contract team (whilst supervising)

In house:-

• All TTIL equipment maintenance, repairs and renewals under direction from Workshop Management
• Equipment lists re: contracts (compiling, checking and loading)
• Off loading of equipment from vehicles after contract back into stores
• Assist Workshop Management to clean, check and return contract equipment to stores

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Company vehicles
• All contract equipment
• All site reporting documentation (whilst supervising)
• Site labour force -well being and conduct (whilst supervising)
• Individual tool boxes and contents

CRITICAL ACTIVITIES :-

• Completion and submission of contract report to Contracts Organiser within 3 days of contract completion (failure to provide, may result in hourly rate being reduced to supervised site rate) (whilst supervising)
• Completion and signing off of all Tube Tech site paperwork at end of contract or on a weekly basis if contract is ongoing beyond this period and submission to Contracts Organiser within 3 days of contract completion (whilst supervising)
• Submission of report re: pre-site visit within 1 day of visit
• All customer site paperwork to be completed as required by customer eg., daily for permits etc., (whilst supervising)
• All equipment to be stored in safe, secure area at end of each shift
• Losses, breakages, theft or other incidents on site to be reported daily to Contract Organiser
• Maintenance of vehicle eg., oil, water, tyre pressure (Supervisor)
