Despite the inherently hazardous nature of much of Tube Tech's work, it has never experienced a fatality from any cause. Even major injuries number no more than one for every ten years, despite operating in countries where safety regulations, enforcement and observation is often quite lax compared to the UK. Safety of operatives and clients on site is absolutely paramount and tech Tech devotes considerable resources to maintaining its exccellent safety record through rigorous training in best practice and compliance and strict enforcement of safety regulations and the wearing of correct PPE at all times.

Tube Tech International were recently presented with a contractor award from E.ON, a Powergen company who are the world’s largest investor-owned power and gas company.
“We had 13 different companies on site during our outage and we monitored over 80 personnel, checking on their safety practices on a regular basis. The outage was incident free and the Safety Performance of all contractors was of a high standard” says Phil Wooldridge, Site Manager at E.ON Stoke. “From the moment we contacted Tube Tech and received their safety documentation it was obvious that they took safety as seriously as we do and as a result their teams’ safety practices on site were exemplary. They were considered to be the best of a group of contractors with a high level of safety awareness.”
On receiving the award Martin Byford, Operations Director with Tube Tech said; “Being recognised for our safety practices is a great pleasure for the whole team. Many contractors may talk about safety but at Tube Tech safety is and must always be our first priority on every site.”
