The export expertise of Tube Tech International has been recognised in the International Business Awards.
Tube Tech was shortlisted among Britain’s best-performing exporters in the International Business Awards, organised by Export Times magazine and UK Trade and Investment (formerly Trade Partners UK).
Although Tube Tech did not take the top award it was a tremendous achievement as it was nominated against some of the biggest names in UK commerce.
However, a Tube Tech delegation led by Managing Director Mike Watson enjoyed a gala presentation dinner at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel. Tube Tech has taken its innovative industrial tube cleaning and inspection services to Nigeria, the Netherlands and Turkey.
The awards committee included Tube Tech in its praise when it said: “The awards honoured individuals and companies – from large corporate players to small niche operators – whose drive and entrepreneurial talents have enabled them to compete successfully in the global marketplace.”
Tube Tech customers overseas include power stations and petrochemical and chemical plants.
Mike Watson said: “Obviously we would have liked to have won an award but we were very pleased to have impressed the judges enough to be shortlisted.
We take a unique and innovative approach to some of the toughest industrial cleaning projects in the world and this has enabled us to reduce cleaning times and production downtimes for our customers.”
Part of the service to overseas customers is an emergency service with a rapid response time of 72 hours.
Teamwork has been the key to Tube Tech's recognition as a top exporter.
