Tube Tech’s Managing Director, Mike Watson, will be attending the 12th annual Shutdowns and Turnarounds conference in Rotterdam (24-25 February) and is looking forward to meeting some attendees to introduce some unique fouling mitigation solutions to reduce or eliminate downtime, improve cleanliness and safety.
Speakers at the event include Euan Thayne, Turnaround Manager with BP Exploration and Luc Gootzen, Maintenance Manager at Ineos Manufacturing in Belgium. The event is the largest and longest running TAR event in Europe.
With extensive experience in contributing to successful shutdowns and turnarounds across the world Tube Tech are always keen to meet with refinery personnel who are looking for better ways to clean their heat transfer equipment.
Tube Tech are able to provide robotic cleaning of fired heater convection sections – accessing all areas of the fired heater to return the convection section back to as new standard. Tube Tech are also able to provide both tube and shell side cleaning of Texas Towers (V.C.F.E). Their unique ShellJet system is able to remove fouling from the external shell side of many shell and tube heat exchangers.
The Shutdowns and Turnarounds event in Rotterdam will be looking at challenges and developments in turnaround management including planning, execution and post execution stages. Attendees will include oil and gas operators, petrochemicals and chemicals companies, steel manufacturers, power generation and technology providers.
Euan Thayne from BP will be presenting on major project integration during turnarounds using a case study focusing on the methodologies used by BP’s offshore turnaround teams. Euan will be discussing key considerations around execution strategies for turnarounds alongside major projects.
